I. AM. THE. FASHTORIOUS.
The Fashtorious L.A.C. is a blog and a brand. Every brand has a voice and personality. When I started this brand, I knew exactly how I wanted it to sound, feel, and look. I decided to hone in on the Lauren that I’ve always held back. The unapologetic Lauren. The bold Lauren.
I won’t lie, in the beginning, I struggled bringing the Fashtorious to life. I found myself filtering and second-guessing everything I wrote and posted. I was trying to please people, which is no way to live. I felt that I wasn’t aligning with my brand.
Therefore, I took a break and decided that I would relaunch the blog with a whole new layout, content, and fearless attitude.
As you can tell, my writing style is different. It’s motivational yet very direct. Sometimes I use “colorful” language. Even the way I pose in pictures is different. This is the Fashtorious that I meant to showcase from the very beginning.
With this new Fashtorious persona, I know I will ruffle a few feathers. I know that some people will say that I’ve changed. I know that some will not agree or like the delivery of my messages or the outfits I chose to wear. But honestly, I am fine with that because now I am no longer holding back. I am being the unapologetic Fashtorious L.A.C.
