Keep Going-The Fashtorious L.A.C.

I wanted this to be a part of my newsletter, but I think it is better to write it as a blog post because it can help anyone who is going through a tough time right now.

As you all know, I took a break from The Fashtorious L.A.C. During this time, I went through a breakup, death of a family member, and other things. All these events brought up feelings of sadness, anger, and confusion. Around that time, I felt that it was not right to post blog entries knowing that I was in such a trying time. But… I was wrong. We (creatives) create our best pieces of work when we are in emotional pain. Also, it’s therapeutic for our soul and we unknowingly help others with whatever we create. Trust me, it is very easy to get so caught up in our own emotions that we want to isolate ourselves and dwell on the negative, but we cannot do that. That is the devil’s way of stunting our growth. We must keep going and fulfill God’s purpose for our life.

While I understand that this is a fashion blog and the majority of my posts should be about clothing, I get more joy out of writing blog entries like this one. Therefore, I know that God’s purpose for my life is to encourage and empower others.

So… KEEP GOING despite rejection.

KEEP GOING despite your past.

KEEP GOING despite your present.

KEEP GOING despite self doubt.

KEEP GOING despite fear.

KEEP GOING despite your insecurities.

KEEP GOING despite judgement from others.

KEEP GOING despite heartbreak

No matter what you’re going through right now, just keep going because eventually, everything will turn out the way that God meant for it to be.
