Business Resolutions-The Fashtorious L.A.C.

Tomorrow is officially the start of 2019! 2018 was filled with personal and professional growth for me. There are personal New Year’s resolutions that I have ALREADY started before the new year, but I do not want to talk about that today. I want to talk about the business resolutions that I have in place for 2019. These are particularly related to my brand, The Fashtorious L.A.C.

CONSISTENCY: In 2019, I would like to be more consistent with my blog. In 2018, I took a seven month break from my blog as you all know, but I do not want to do that again. I feel that if I want to be successful with my brand, I have to continue to create, promote, and evolve! Therefore, this year I will focus a lot on being consistent. I want to have a new blog post at least once a week.
BRANDING: More like personal branding. I love my blog name, color scheme, and etc. However, I want to stand out more, especially on social media. In order to build a stronger personal brand, I believe I need to allow myself to be more open, especially on social media. Share more of my day-to-day life. Let people see more of my personality.
SOCIAL MEDIA: I really want to work on gaining more of a following on social media, particularly Instagram. Right now, I have about 304 followers and it fluctuates every day. I believe this is due to me not being consistent on that platform. Also, I do not just want more followers, but more engagement. I need to be more consistent on Instagram and ask my current followers what type of content they want me to provide for them. Social media can be really annoying to me, but in order to have a strong brand, I have to utilize it.
COLLABORATIONS/SPONSORSHIPS/NEW ENTERPRISES: In 2019, I really want to start collaborating with other bloggers, stylists, and etc. Collaborations are key to gaining more exposure, networking with peers in the industry, and ultimately being successful. I have an idea on how I can start collaborating with others, but that is my little secret ;)
I would LOVE to gain a brand sponsorship. In 2018, a representative from a hotel aggregator contacted me because they wanted me to partner with them. I did not go through with this partnership due to unfamiliarity of the brand and lack of compensation. A brand that I would love to partner with is Marriott. I love staying at their nice hotels and I am a part of the Marriott Rewards program. I believe that I would be a good fit for the brand.

In addition to fashion, I am also into business! My mind is always thinking about new business ideas and this year, I want to launch them. I actually have one in the works right now ;)
